Dany Noel, born in Havana, Cuba, began his performing career at only 8 years old singing and playing guitar. After taking up double and electric bass he began to play with the top son, salsa and timba groups from Cuba and eventually left his native country to settle in Torino, Italy. Together with Ivan Bridon and renowned Cuban drummer, Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez, he is an integral member of the groud breaking Latin jazz project ITALUBA. Throughout his career his has played with countless influential artists to the likes of Roy Hargrove, Bebo Valdes, Chucho Valdes, Celia Cruz, Changuito, Giovanni Hidalgo, Ivan Lins, Jerry Gonzalez, Ojos de Brujo, El Nino Josele, Concha Buika and Chocolate. He has just released his second album as lead vocalist and bassist and it is titled Tinta Unida.
