Dale Stlimba is a strong debut album.
Stlimbas joyful music is the combination of West African and Caribbean rhytms. The name Stilimba combines steel pans and concert marimba, which are the corner stones of stilimbatic,distinctive sound. The bands instument arsenal contains also includes heptatonic balafon, and the different flutes of Andea, cuatro, charango and tiple, double bass, drum set and the percussions. The songs are sung atleast six languages: Finnish, English, French, Spanish, Mandinka and Wolof. The dance solos in West African style is the important part of the Stlimba show.
