DRXL's music violates all canons of musical style. He calls it 'Hip Hop', but the label could only be appropriate in some ghetto from outer space. Yes, there are breaks and funky basslines, but everything else comes from unexpected sources, ...mostly form his 3000+ record collection, amassed through dedicated crate diggin' all over the world. From obscure disco vinyl singles to educational records, the cultural detritus of humankind gets a second lease on life through DRXL's sampler.
