ELGIDINO (Electric Gypsy Disco Noise) wants to bring the beautiful and crazy melodies of the Balkan Area into the Clubs and Dancefloors by blending them with beats from all over the world. The musicians come from Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey and Germany. Guitar, drums, percussion and bass are the framework which is completed by hornplayers, singers, the turkish/german DJ Ipek Ipekcioglu and varying special guests. Performances at the opening of Vladimir Kaminers "Rodina Club" in Berlin and at the Balkan Blackboxfestival, at the MyFest Kreuzberg Konnektion, MyFest TransUrban-Stages and at the Diyalog Theater already happend. The rhythmically strong program is enriched by improvisation and stage presentations, seemingly reminiscent of their past at the Berlin "Metropol Music Theatre". Currently the Band is producing its first studio album.
