The Danube University of Krems (Austria) is now accepting applications on their part time, post-graduate MA Music Management Course, starting in the autumn of 2015. The course has been run successfully for a number of years in German, but from now on will be delivered exclusively in English. Aimed primarily but not exclusively at the classical sector, the course combines theory and practice of music and media studies, economics and legal competencies across all areas of the International Music Industry – record companies, publishing, copyright, concert and artist management and much more. The course is aimed at those already employed in the music industry seeking personal development, those looking to begin a career in one of the many facets of the music industry thereby raising employability prospects, and artists and performers who wish to develop a better understanding of how all of the aspects of the music industry function as part of their own career self-management process.
