Dox Records is a musicians platform, taking care of songs, recordings and concerts. Dox Records is also a production company for a variety of music related projects.

Founded in 1997 by members of the band Sfeq, it intended to provide an alternative musical resource in the Dutch music industry. "Dox" comes from the ancient Greek, Doxa, which means "idea", or "opinion."

The Dox artists rule. They're versatile in their musical talent, involved in a myriad of projects. They're committed and visionary musicians and therefore they may also be an A&R manager, producer, or the instigator of the next project. Dox productions are not pigeon-holed based on traditional musical conventions; the Dox product is the outcome of its own unique process and it deserves its own distinctive form, style and promotion. Dox productions are always hip, fresh, and experimental, whilst maintaining an awareness of the jazz tradition.

If the emotion is universal, its musical expression is too.
