Elijah Wald

Elijah Wald is a writer and musician. I was world music critic for the Boston Globe newspaper for some 15 years, and have published various books, including a biography of the blues singer Josh White and a book (part of a television/radio/CD/web project I worked on) on music along the Mississippi River. My new book is Narcocorrido: A Journey into the Music of Drugs, Guns, and Guerrillas, published in English and Spanish by Rayo, an imprint of HarperCollins.
