"Die Band von Übermorgen"
The four gents in 4 Guys From The Future work in a musical borderland between
finished compositions and the improvised. Their philosophy is placed in a space - in
a common thought about a future of only possibilities, where no rules apply. A space
that will only be created if they all four make room for eachother. In this space of
concentration something totally new and unique can happen.
The songs on the debutalbum Under The New Morning Sun orbit around the very
personal lyrical universe of Bjarke Porsmose, about the sometimes overwhelming,
inner emotional chaos inside knitted compositions. The songs on the album are, and
more obvious live, focus points on an improvised course, picking up inspiration fra
the last fifty years of rock music. With a special love for the german krautrock, the
rhytms and thoughts move from and especially to another world. A world where these
4 Guys unite their thoghts in tone, and the intensity gives the music a certain
combination of presence and forwardness.
Under The New Morning Sun har received great praise in the Danish music media,
and the album was found on different lists over the best Danish album in 2010.
