Ethno Port Poznan 2010

Ethno Port Festival is organised by “Zamek” Culture Centre. The first edition was held in 2008. During the short time that has passed since the last event, the Ethno Port Poznan has become one of the most important world music festivals in Poland. At its heart lies openness – both in the geographical as in the musical sense. The Festival provides an opportunity to experience an encounter with the work of artists who have exceptionally valuable achievements to their credit: sometimes their music is unrefined, near to what it has been for many generations, sometimes combined with such dissimilar genres as jazz, rock, klezmer, electronic, club or classical music. The venue of the festival is found in the Old Warta River Channel.
