For close to 20 years, Tummel has brought their eclectic mix of balkan, klezmer, oriental and rock influences to an ever enthusiastic crowd across Europe. With hyper energy and great instrumental skill, Tummel turns any audience into a dancing frenezy. Starting out as an instrumental band with traditional material, the band has moved on to mainly own-composed material. The band has released 4 cds. Tummel has toured extensively in Scandinavia as well as Germany, Switzerland, UK, Finland, Italy, Estonia etc. The band frequently also does workshops and school concerts.Current projects are a music/dance performance togehter with the Finnish dance company Tsuumi, and the school concert project "Migrating Birds".
