The band was formed in 2005 to bring together some of the outstanding musicians from different parts of the world living in the Oresund region (Malmo/Copenhagen). With 7 members representing 7 different musical styles and 4 continents, the band calls it's music "the sound of a multicultural city". We mix traditional music of Scandinavian, African, Persian, Caribbean and Balkan origins with our own compositions. Recently cooperated with Yair Dalal, Maureen Lilanda, Johan Hedin and Malmoe Symphony Orchestra in a big project with world music for symphony orchestra. The band has also done a lot of school concerts, cooperating with Nassim Al Fakir from National Children's TV.
In 2009, the band got a big scolarship from the Swedish Arts Council to perform music by the very famous Iraqi composer Jafar Hasan Aboud, now living in exile in Sweden. The premiere of this music, with Jafar as guest musician on oud and vocals, will be in spring 2010
