Following an interesting career as a civil engineer, in 1998 Consuelo Arbelaez, began her course in the bussines of the music, after having taken a MBA in Economy and Management of the music in the European School of Economics in Bologna (Italy)
In 1999 she collaborates with Knitmedia in New York, an entertainment company, the owner of the Knitting Factory Jazz Club and promoter of the Bell Atlantic Jazz Festival.
With a deep interest for the so-called world music and with a preference for the Latin American continent in 2000 she joined the team of Latinoamericando S.r.l in the position Show & Events Responsible for the Festival Latinoamericando in Milan and Verona (Italy).
In 2002 she founded her own agency, Evviva, with the purpose to follow up personal goals.
Every year she participates in many of the most interesting music tradefairs in Europe, Brazil, Colombia and others maintaining close bonds with agents, musicians, festivals, promoters, record companies and people involve in the music industry.
