FAMDT Fédération des Associations de musiques & danses Traditionnelles
Created in 1985, FAMDT is a national network which includes 90 associations from the traditional music and dance sector in France.
FAMDT develops his project around several axis of work, such as live professional performances, transmitting, training and the professionalisation and promotion of cultural heritage
Its objectives are :
- the setting up of a network of traditional dancers and musicians, to create solidarity and share ideas and projects.
- the description and promotion of this sector with partners and the media, aiming at improving its image.
