Graveola is a band formed by one or two good instrumentists, other ones with good conversation, a dedicated but not practical one and an incredible team of makeup. The group impresses by the conviction with which sometimes makes things a bit ridiculous and ambiguous, and also by the ability to improvise without virtuosity and doing shows with poor equipment. The first members joined together in 2004 to form a collective that brings together music, video, light, design, production, dancers, etc... The style of music is uncertain and difficult to describe, but its members pass through the little-punk, half-hippie-intellectual cult-of-pocket and dropped-sexy. Heavily influenced by the profanity of the FM radio and classical music discs purchased at the newsstand, the group creates their songs in a mix of genres that seem simultaneously something you've already heard, but that is incredibly unique and pleasurable. Graveola has a good relationship with the Internet and also to the very front ranks of public presentations, as well as with the younger cousins and relatives. By now the band struggles (with nice results) to conquer brazilian public, but finds that traveling around the world to play and have fun would be nice too. Although they write strange "about me" sections, they religiously thank the good reaction that people have when hearing to their music.
