Jody Ackland is a freelance music programmer, arts festivals curator and the Director of World Remix, a platform developing collaborative Irish and International music projects.
She was the founding Director and Programmer of the Festival of World Cultures ('00-'10); Ireland's largest international music and arts festival (see below) and has a portfolio that includes concerts and carnivals to light-shows, conferences, television, educational courses and an internet radio station.
A Womex delegate (Festival of World Cultures) since 2000, Jody will attend in 2011 as part of the Culture Ireland delegation (Stand G1+G2), she will also be representing Ireland's most innovative traditional Irish band 'Kíla'.
