Drawing on the success of its latest editions, the 2009 Timitar Festival will highlight once more the richness of the musical heritage of the Souss Massa Draâ region in Morocco and will invite world musicians that, without renouncing to modernity, remain attached to their roots.
The Festival is organized by the Timitar Association and takes place from 1 to 5 July 2009 ; several stages will welcome Moroccan and international artists for a festive moment of sharing and generosity.
Creating a pluricultural dialogue while revealing the diversity and the richness of Berber and world music, this is the challenge of this festival that wishes to unite and to surprise its audience.
