The Catalan painter and poet, Perejaume, who hails from Sant Pol de Mar, is working on various projects for the upcoming edition of the Fira Mediterrània de Manresa, set to take place from 3-6 November. The power of images rooted in a particular location is the common thread on which Perejaume will be basing these projects.
By collaborating with a guest artist every year, Fira opens up a space for dialogue and creation, offering a reflection on roots culture in the 21st century. This is one of Fira’s main missions: to serve as a forum for the redefinition of popular and traditional culture and for the passing on of knowledge.
