The group was founded in Brusy on Cashubia (northern Poland) in 2007. Before forming their own band, musicians of Bubliczki has played in the Cashubian Folk Ensemble "Krebane", where they has obtained musical experiences. The initiator and leader of musical band Bubliczki was accordion player and vocalist Mateusz Czarnowski. The idea of the group was a new approach of playing Polish and Cashubian folk music. The music of Bubliczki is a fusion of Jewish, Balkan and Gypsy sounds with Polish and especially Cashubian musical traditions.
