Scandinavia’s largest festival for acoustic traditional and world music was established in 1990 and runs over four days in July each year. The program presents artists from all over the world, and has also a strong focus on the Norwegian and Nordic traditional and contemporary music scene.
Through indoor and outdoor concerts, workshops and activities, the Førde Festival invites you to a world of music and culture. A world in which music builds bridges between people and creates understanding that spans across borders and continents. The landscape of fjords and mountains, together with the intimacy of a small town, offer the perfect setting to present the best music and the finest artists in the world.

4 days – 300 artists – 30 nationalities – 90 events - 30 venues
