The leading traditional singer of the Kyrgyz people, Salamat Sadikova has performed extensively both as soloist and with Kyrgyzstan's national folk ensemble, Kambarkan. Her artistry and passion have been acclaimed by both by people and Presidents throughout Central Asia. Among many regional honors, she's been proclaimed Honored People's Artist of the Kazakh Republic. She has also performed in Japan, China, Russia, Korea, and parts of both Western and Eastern Europe. Salamat's rare vocal command of both power and nuance make hearing her songs an intimate emotional experience.
