CANTOS is a French company specializing in digital content and the publishing of World Music.

We offer exclusive digital licensing and/or publishing deals to catalogue owners or producers, and our aim is to maximize digital income by working directly with digital distributors - including e-tailers and mobile retailers - on behalf of a string of high quality catalogues that deal exclusively with World Music.

Our credibility with e-tailers is built on one of the largest digital catalogues of World Music. As of today, this includes the world-famous Syllart Productions, Section Zouk, Antilles Mizik, Obouo Productions, Kiki Productions, Cyriaque Bassoka Productions, Maghreb Music, Wedoo Music and Ndiaye Productions.

We hold licenses for legends such as Franco, Zaiko Langa Langa, Koffi Olomide, Papa Wemba and specific albums of artists such as Leeroy (Saian Supa Crew), Sally Nyolo or Haitian Troubadours. In France CANTOS represents the leading Indian catalogue, Saregama, for both master and synchronisation licenses.

CANTOS has contracts and works directly with the most important Internet and mobile retailers in the world. In order to maximize reach, exposure and income, we are constantly growing our number of outlets on an international level and, in total, the CANTOS catalogue includes over 10,000 world music titles directly distributed to all the major fixed and mobile digital distributors, from iTunes to Orange.

CANTOS assumes and pays for all services needed to develop digital income:

Digital production, metadata management, catalogue encoding and delivery
Digital retail marketing and promotion (for releases, events, shows, tours)
Special digital compilations and promotion operations
Advice on optimum digital/physical strategy
Reporting and data management

CANTOS, in conjunction with its strategic partner, STERNS MUSIC, is seeking the exclusive digital and/or publishing rights of world music catalogues with the aim of actively developing the income potential of those catalogues.

The new partnership with STERNS MUSIC gives an increased profile in the UK and USA, and will promote catalogues by the continuing worldwide release of selected albums in both digital and physical formats.
