CANTOS is a French label specialized in digital content and publishing of World Music.

We offer exclusive digital licensing (and/or publishing) deals to catalogue owners or producers. Our aim is to maximize digital income by working directly with digital distributors (e-tailers and mobile retailers) for a set of high quality catalogues exclusively in world music.

Our credibility with e-tailers is built on of the largest exclusive World Music digital catalogue. As of today, it includes Syllart Productions (Africando, Bembeya Jazz, Tabu Ley Rochereau, Ismael Lo,…), Section Zouk (Nichols, Ali Angel, Ludo, Warren, Thierry Cham, Phil Control,…), Antilles Mizik (Carimi, Tabou Combo, T-Vice,…), Obouo Prod (Fally Ipupa, Douk Saga, DJ Arafat, Jet Set,…), Kiki Prod (Werrason, Extra Musica, Madilu System,…), Cyriaque Bassoka Prod (Bantous de la Capitale, Pamelo Mounka, TP OK Jazz, …), Maghreb Music (Hasni, Daoudi, Cheb Abbes,…), Wedoo Music (Francis Bebey, Meiway, Baster,…), Ndiaye Prod (Pepe Kalle, Simaro,…). We also have the digital license on the catalogue of World Music legends such as Zaiko Langa Langa, Franco, Koffi Olomide, Papa Wemba and albums of specific artists such as Leeroy (Saian Supa Crew), Sally Nyolo or Haitian Troubadours.
CANTOS also represents for publishing and master licenses the leading Indian catalogue Saregama. All in all, CANTOS catalogue includes over 10 000 World Music titles directly distributed to all the major fixed and mobile digital distributors, from I-Tunes to Orange.


CANTOS has contracts and works directly and closely with the most important internet and mobile retailers (iTunes, eMusic, Orange, SFR, Fnacmusic, Virginmega,…) all around the world, with which we obtain optimum visibility for our tracks or albums. We are constantly growing our number of outlets on an international level, in order to maximize reach, exposure and income.


CANTOS assumes and pays for all services needed to develop digital income :
- Digital production, metadata management, catalogue encoding and delivery
- Digital retail marketing and promotion (for releases, events, shows, tours)
- Special digital compilations and promotion operations
- Advice on optimum digital/physical strategy
- Reporting and data management

CANTOS is actively seeking, in conjunction with its strategic partner, STERN'S, exclusive digital rights or publishing rights on World Music catalogues, with the aim of actively developing the income potential of those catalogues.
We are also open to discuss the licensing of your tracks for compilations and synchros.
