I've been involved in the music industry for many years as musician, festival & event promoter, PA & lighting engineer and worked as arts centre programmer, and continue to work with the UK Musicians Union (MU) Folk Roots and Traditional music section still working as a freelance site/stage manager very occasionaly and am a presenter at festivals and events worldwide. Hey I even still play music sometimes !

FRUSION is run and owned by Ian Smith a Musicians Union member for many years, and currently national chair (2005 / 06) of the national committee of the Musicians Union, Folk Roots and Traditional Music section. A promoter, event co-ordinator, programmer and activist in the world music and folk roots scene in the UK for over 25 years

And now the next big stage .. as managing producer of what is destined we hope to be a very big multicultural multinational project called Distilations ... more of which you'll see as time goes by..
