The Dervish Agency is based in the Ruhr Area (European Capital of Culture 2010),
a constantly evolving region, which serves as a fertile breeding ground for exciting crosscultural artistic collaborations.
The ethos of the agency could be described as "east meets west".
We mainly represent world music groups that combine musical traditions of Turkey, the arab regions, the Balkans, North Africa and India with western jazz and groove elements.
