There's nothing special in mixing beats and global influences these days, but when Transglobal Underground started out in the early 1990s they were regarded as curiosities for doing just that. Best remembered for their early vocalist Natacha Atlas, this musical collective have dipped in and out of fashion, but the new album finds them on inventive form.
