Long-time freelance journalist, DJ and world music consultant, Francis Gay is a French radio producer, Head of Music at WDR Funkhaus Europa, Cologne, Germany.
He has directed key festivals (Popkomm Global Nights in Cologne for 10 years, Orient Inside, Salam Ramadan and
Summertage since 2000 in Cologne) and organised clubs.
Involved also in several side projects related to world music. As author and presenter of programmes like 5Planeten for German public radio stations, he is also a panellist of the World Music Charts Europe.
