Felix Zeltner, 28, is a freelance journalist based in Munich, Germany, where he studied journalism and received a degree from Deutsche Journalistenschule, the most renowned journalism school in Germany.
After finishing school in 2008, he started to travel and work for radio, newspapers and magazines. Since early 2009, he is producing the first ever worldwide music-travel-videoblog called "Tonspur", meaning "soundtrack" in german.
With nothing than a small camcorder, a foto camera, a field recorder and a notebook, he reports about DJs in South Africa, noise artists in Vietnam and brass bands in Samoa. Every piece on the blog is produced by himself on the road and published online by ARTE, a french-german TV cooperation. http://tonspur.arte.tv has received about 100.000 visits so far. During Womex, Felix is doing a daily videoblog for Germany's only public radio station that is dedicated to world music, "Funkhaus Europa".
