An astonishing and versatile quartet.

Biography

Marco Figueiredo was born in Coimbra in 1977. He studied in the Music School of Castelo Branco and later on in the Music School of Coimbra. Presently he dedicates to jazz. He got lessons from Paulo Gomes and Joao Paulo Esteves da Silva and participated in innumerable workshops organised by reputed musicians such as Myra Meldford, Aaron Goldberg or John Ellis among others.
In 2001 he was invited by Luisa Amaro to record to the Universal label a theme of his own inserted in a tribute "colectanea" of Carlos Paredes, a record that includes names such as Carlos Bica, Mario Laginha and Antonio Pinho Vargas, and promoting this CD with participations in concerts and television's programs.
He is a pupil of the "Escola Superior de Musica e Artes do Espectaculo" and plays in projects such as "Heart of Trio", "Latin Groove" at the same time that develops his own projects.
