Not long ago, ORQUESTA GALI launched their first CD, made in Europe and recorded in Colombia with the participation of Diego and Jimmy Galé, the voices of “El Indio” (ex Orquesta Revé), Néstor Rivero (ex los Adolescentes), Donaldo Flores (ex Adalberto Álvarez y su Son) and Edisney Portales. It’s maybe hard to believe that a Latin music production of this quality can be made out from Europe, but look what people say about it in the entire world: www.orquestagali.com/En/savezvous.html . And just listen to it on the website: www.orquestagali.com!
The band leader Jorge Gali, a talented Cuban pianist, has the ambition to prove that there is a salsa music for the taste of everybody: a salsa with Colombian sound, Porto Rican flavor, New York quality, … and Cuban soul! This musical project pretends, and demonstrates, that ¡LA SALSA MÁS BAILABLE AHORA TAMBIEN VIENE DE EUROPA! (the most danceable now also comes from Europe). Gali is convinced that salseros from the entire world, and in particular those living in Europe (a multicultural mixed breed with a passion for dancing and a very specific Latino European identity, which is very from those living in the Americas) need a style and a rhythm “sin fronteras” (without borders).
