Improvisation, innovation and inspiration are the keywords that describe the young Danish folk band Fjaerin. With curiosity the three talented young musicians are searching in their individual musical roots, and together they have created a musical expression that gathers the music traditions of Sweden, Denmark and Estonia but also an expression, which is open for improvisation and new thinking. Their music concentrates on breaking boundaries and exploring the folk genre. Fjarin has come to renew the folk scene with their first EP, which is set for release in august 2010.

Fjaerin consists of the two Danish musicians Sren Stensby (violin) and Kasper Ejlserskov Leonhardt (guitar), and the Swedish/Estonian bass player Johannes Vaht.
