Persian, Indian, Afro-Brazilian, Afro-Cuban, Afro-Peruvian, North and West African, Andalusian, Jazz, Hip Hop, Jungle, Dance Hall.



Philosophy/ Concept:



Globo Ada strives to create uncomprosing, original music that is infectious and modern, while resonating from deep traditional sources. We build from a powerful poly-rhythmic foundation - upon which lyrical melodies are woven. We are not satisfied until we believe a track has filled a gap in the musical soundscape and has become a work of great originality and import. We seek to create albums without "filler", where every track has an essential place and communicates individually and as an integral part of the whole. We are inspired by ancient traditions both stylistically as well as by the role of the music in the surrounding culture. And we're inspired by the opportunities to innovate with sound provided by current technology and global interconnectivity. From Globo Ada you will hear new, vibrant and intense sounds that will tear you out of your seat while nourishing your mind with wondrous stories and chants.
