Katerina Papadopoulou is one of the most appreciated singers of Greek folk music. She has studied and collaborated with exceptional singers of the old generation exploring various vocal styles which constitute the mosaic of Greek folk singing. She has appeared in numerous concerts in Greece and abroad and released three albums.

The ensemble is composed of well-known musicians who have blazed a trail and marked new routes in folk music performing, and functions under the direction of Sokratis Sinopoulos.

The repertoire covers a period from medieval times to the beginning of 20th century, from rural ritual and dance tunes to urban traditions of modern era like rebetiko. All that is expressed through arrangements in a delicate and harmonic balance between the authentic and the contemporary.
