Masilva is an "electroubador" who writes spacey up-beat songs that blend Latin American Folk Tradition and global sounds like Electro and Dub.
Sophomore album Cóndor features Cumbia, Andean Huayno Sounds and Chicha merging them with electronic elements. Both Condor and first album Criollo Businessman have been distributed in Colombia, Peru, Mexico and Japan (Meta Records) and songs have been synchronized in TV programs (El Mercado de los Milagros-Peru), and included in compilations such as Latin Bass Mexico Records Vol 2 (Mexico).
Legendary Dub star Mad Professor remixed Cumbia Lavapies, and DJs/Producers such as Danny F, Chakruna and Borchi have also remixed Masilva's tunes.
Mototaxi Love video was included among the best of 2013 by Red Bull Panamerika and the same tune together with Condor were on the Top 20 by Radio Nacional de Colombia during several weeks along 2013 and 2014.
