FMI is a business-oriented platform for interchange the experiences between the music producers of the most varied levels of the musical productive chain. It is the biggest independent music fair of South America.

The Fair counts with the participation of all the independent segments of the local, national and international markets.

Amongst specialists, technician, specialized press, musical lecturers, entrepreneurs and producers, musicians and deliverers of records that are convoked to argue about the productive chain of music.

The second edition happened in 2006. FMI 2006 occurred between the days 28 of April and 1º of May, in Brasilia - Federal District.
