A new company dedicated to finding ways of keeping artists moving around the planet. Colin Hicks, well-known as the London cultural attaché for Québec, has combined his skills as pedagogue, performer and diplomat to offer consultancy to institutions for whom he also chairs or appears on panels at conferences and seminars. He is currently organising three conferences on mobility one for each summer of 2011 to 2013. For individual artists or ensembles he offers Skype coaching sessions on issues related to funding, visas, carbon footprint, public finance and government public diplomacy policies - all of which prevent mobility in one way or another. Colin is fluent in French and English with some Spanish and Italian if it helps.
