Founded in 1985, Hitch Hyke Music, a leading greek independent, rather on the alternative side, has always been praised and respected as an opinion maker of the music scene in Greece, for it’s cutting edge productions on one side and it’s taste of imported albums on the other. International labels such as Palm Pictures, Rykodisc, SubPop, Epitaph, Knitting Factory, or Cooking Vinyl -to name a few- have been exclusively represented in the local market by Hitch Hyke for many years.

In these times, when mucic is even more needed, not only as a means of entertainment, expression, discovery, unity, ecumenicity, but also as a refugee from the newspaper headlines and “TV living”, Hitch Hyke Music, a company with a sense of community and free spirit, is proud to present internationally its 2002 new releases, that breath a whole new spirit into greek music production and bring to light the spontaneous creative force of the local scene.
