JAZZNEWS: Eclecticism is at the core of Emmanuel Louis' talent with his band "Funk Sinatra". Not mainly funk, by the way, not Sinatra at all up 'til now, but very Zappaesque in his tongue-in-cheek kind of way. And also klezmer, classical, pop, at times even more defiantly rock, to the point of occasionnally following the footsteps of Nina Hagen and Clash, suggesting even Higelin, and let's name two other phenomenons: Albert Marcoeur and the belgian band Cos.

Emmanuel's music is far too off-limits to satisfy the needs of tight rock station's playlists, but "Jazz" will have him with pleasure. He will tell us about his new double CD "Onze Histoires aux Fins plus ou moins etranges selon les Cas"/The Mysterious Walk" (Homerecords) on march 21st.
