Fjellfolk, literally means Mountain people or people from the mountains. Fjellfolk blends traditional norwegian folkmusic especially from the Setesdalvalley in the south of Norway with influences from different genres. The band is experimenting with the traditional folkmusic in combination with loops and rhythm and has a fierce live reputation. Fjellfolk has performed for Stavanger2008, European Capitol of Culture in Norway with a great responce from an international audience. Currently looking for festivaljobs summer 2010.
