IMESUR is a Latin American music meeting and market. It is oriented to the development of both national and international industry, based on academic activities, networking and live shows. The development of structures derived in circulation and constant flow of musical expressions among participating countries is our main goal.
From 2020, IMESUR will give a new strategic turn, extending its coverage towards the genre of classical and classical-contemporary music, allowing classical musicians to increase the relevance and effectiveness of their artistic proposals. The creation of the ‘IMESUR Classical format will make it possible to contribute from the same networks and structure of IMESUR -in terms of its organization and internationalization program- generating an environment conducive to the generation of links between artists, public & educational institutions, and international programmers.
