Alexandre Lima is the type of artist who transcends easy labeling and trends. His taste is for the unexpected. As well as winning such awards such as Le decoverts de RFI - Paris, Best Group in Espirito Santo (5 consecutive years), best guitarist in 2007 and 2008, he has released 4 albums, one DVD and toured the world over the past 10 years (Montreux Jazz festival, Switzerland; Popkomm, World Music festival, Burgherzberg Festival, Afrikan Festival, Germany; Expo98, Lisbon; Sfinks, Belgium; L'Espirito Poitou, France; El Grec, Spain; Festigal, Galici...) with his band Mahnimal. His new solo project is Radio Experienza.

The resulting album is a mixture of reggae, e-music, rock, psychedelica and MPB. Recorded during his travels around the world, Alexandre also invited various icons of Brazilian music to participate. Dado Villa Lobos, guitarist with legendary rock Legiao Urbana, and singer-songwriter Ze Geraldo join him on the track "Ouro Negro", while soulman Claudio Zoli sings on "Sunshine", a track written by Alexandre with his brother, Amaro Lima. The album also features DJ Alex Zeela on "Os Deuses do Capitalismo"; French musician Cedric Rageau on "A Fortaleza"; Anderson Bacana, co-author of "Deixa Passar"; Gustavo Brasilia, vocalist with Kanabaus and Fabricio Beat Box on "Ragga Radio"; as well as a spoken-word introduction by Edu Henning.
