Antonio Amato stands for the "Italian voice" in the field of Roots and World Music. He was raised up in his grandparents bakery, where everybody sung "a cappella" from early morning; now he continues to sing even when you meet him in the street! and do represents the most stunning singer in traditional TARANTA repertoire (and in his own original music). On the 28th, August 2010 he sung in duet with Dulce Pontes at Festival "La Notte della Taranta" held in Italy, before 120,000 people.
