Even playing a lot of instruments CARMELO SALEMI is mainly known as a reed flute virtuoso, the very heir of the mythological Greek player Aristeo who enchanted bees with his syrinx. The artist is born and lives in the same little country of Sicily where Aristeo lived 3.000 years ago (near Siracusa).
