SIMONE CAROTENUTO has been performing "Tammurriata" and popular music for almost 40 years. Thanks to his unique voice and his thrilling interpretations, the press wrote many times he keeps alive the famous painting of a "tammurriata" located in Pompeii (Villa dei Misteri, dating 39 b.C.). Simone was born and lives just a stone throw from Pompeii excavations: his artistry, backed by a talented group, manages to re-join past, present and future.
