Singer-songwriter, composer, owner of a sweet, intense and provocative voice as her own tangos, MARISA VAZQUEZ is today one of the great precursors of the use of a popular genre as a means of social protest and social claim: working in prisons and correctional centers in Buenos Aires.
After 20 years of career, she musically appeals to resources coming from jazz, contemporary tango, tango songs as expressive tools, telling a deep and sensitive message.
Since 2005, he has been touring Europe, Africa (Angola) and Latin America (Mexico and Uruguay), performing concerts in Malmö, Helsingborg, Simrishamm, Lund (Sweden), Helsingor and Copenhagen (Denmark), Rennes, Bordeaux, Lion , La Renaissance (Bordeaux), L'Alcazar (Bordeaux), Café Cortina (Spain), La Barca (Spain), Art Bar La Latina (Madrid) (Reens), Chavagne Tango (Chavagne) and El Living (Paris)
