Jun Lin comes from a Classical music background. She was with the set-up of the Rainforest World Music Festival in Malaysian Borneo in 1998 and Artistic Director for it for 7 years from 2001-2007. She also set up and ran the shows for the Penang World Music Festival, Genting International Jazz Festival and then known Miri International Jazz Festival.
Jun Lin consults in the South East Asian region in the performing arts field and has just been re-appointed Artistic and Production Director for the Rainforest World Music Festival 2012 and Borneo Jazz (formerly known as the Miri International Jazz Festival) 2012.
