INGO MUSIC IS PROUD TO PRESENT JOHN CHRIS

JOHN CHRIS music is a fusion of western and African music, a style of music which combines traditional rhythms with modern electric instruments. A thrilling voice and an ability to experiment with western styles while remaining deeply, passionately African and supportive of the traditional ethnic grooves of Burundi and Rwanda (neighbor country speaking almost the same tongue the Kirundi). He also sings in Swahili. His 2 first albums Garuka and Dunia are a mix of Burundi traditional rhythms and soukous, reggae, salsa, funk and rock influences as well as a jazz touch.

We will be present at the Womex and wish to take this opportunity to get you acquainted with his latest work, a 3rd album MUBUZIMA.COM (LIFE.COM) is coming out. JOHN CHRIS is not yet signed to a publisher and/or a label.

We would be happy to meet you at the facility provided for Belgian resident artists by Wallonie Bruxelles Musiques present at Womex at F15 / F17.
