Quemando Palabras (Burning Words) is the new project of the Swiss-Ecuadorian percussionist Juan Pino (known from Valravn and SUNA).
South American '70 street poetry unites with today's latin hip hop in a shout for spiritual,
cultural and political freedom.
A travel from the Andes' nature to the urban reality of America.

The debut album Mama America was released in 2010. The title track "Mama America" was nominated best new folk song '11 by the Ecuadorian National Radio.

The band will be touring Europe and Latin America duirng 2012
