Take four highly-skilled musicians, add captivating compositions, innovative arrangements and intuitive interplay. Bring to the boil, stirring in generous portions of special Finnish humour and charm, and add liberal dashes of tango, electronica and other styles to taste. Serve with a brightly coloured visual relish. That's the Reaktori recipe that has been collecting rave reviews and manifesting countless spontaneous outbreaks of highly-contagious bonhomie at home and abroad.

Led by accordion virtuoso, multi-faceted composer and tango-nuevo forerunner Johanna Juhola, they transcend style and genre limitations with a captivating mix of musical excellence and engaging charm, creating an eclectic blend of Argentinian and Finnish tango, electronica, ruminative Nordic roots and cheekily eccentric pop.

Reaktori features on Johanna Juhola's three latest albums: 'Fantasiatango', 'Tango Roto Live' and 'Fantasiatango 2'. All three were produced, programmed and mixed by multi-talented sound designer, musician, composer, Tuomas Norvio, who plays live electronic percussion on stage with Reaktori. The other two vital ingredients in the band are double-bass player, percussionist and raconteur Sara Puljula – an in-demand session musician for many bands including Spontaani Vire, Frigg, Gjallahorn and Tsuumi – and on piano and harmonium, Johanna's long-term musical colleague, Milla Viljamaa, also widely known for her work with Hereä, Las Chicas del Tango, Saaga Ensemble and Lauri Tähkä.
