J4F is a Barcelona's Quartet (Catalonia-Spain). An innovative proposal by definition where creation & experimentation are the creative poles through which it produces its music. The band's singularity feeds on its musician's stylistic background and instrumental versatility.
Its style is the outcome of powerful rhythmic sounds based on the harmonic language of Jazz at the service of their own compositions, made of all kind of bars: piped, looped, surprising turns... which refers to many sonorous worlds: Funk, Latin, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Flamenco, Brazil, Eastern, African... A true "everything is allowed", hardly classify, but that its 4 membres has baptized as World Groove.
At present, after almost one year recording, J4F is finalizing details to launch its first LP World Groove along 2008.
During 2007 J4F has combined the recording process with many performances of its powerful and surprising show across Spain (Festivals, Clubs, etc.).
Now it's ready to jump worldwide and spreads its World Groove...
