KANTELELIITTO, Finnish Kantele Association is the organisation for kantele players and enthusiasts, promoting kantele music and players around the world, and publishing a magazine titled Kantele. The association organises a theme festival specialised in kantele music at Haapavesi Folk Music Festival (taking place 1-4 July 2010), which is one of the top class folk music festivals in Finland.

HAAPAVESI FOLK MUSIC FESTIVAL is an international festival where folk music is combined with atmospheric church concerts, jazz, children's music, dance and theatre. There are approximately 10 000 visitors enjoying folk music with us every year.

Next Haapavesi Folk Music Festival is 1st - 4th of July 2010 and the Folk course is its familiar place before the festival 28th of June - 2nd of July 2010.
